The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce has renewed an agreement with Minaya Learning Global Solutions LLC to continue its strategic planning process on behalf of the chamber for another three years.

The Cape Coral-based global education and development firm began this work in 2015, and will accomplish its five-year planning process in 2020, providing the chamber a roadmap to fully deliver on its mission as “a business organization of professionals who support a progressive, sustainable community.”

Minaya Learning Global Solutions delivers education, leadership development and strategic planning to enterprise, small business and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States and around the globe. The company led the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce through a visioning process to establish a list of guiding principles to form the basis of its approach as it faces three key strategic issues for 2016 to 2019: membership engagement, community relations and community involvement.

Within these objectives, areas of focus include improvement of the chamber’s website, newsletter, overall marketing strategy, membership advocacy and engagement, and small business focus. Expansion through strategic partnerships and connections to the education community is another priority.

The chamber’s immediate past chairman, HBKS Wealth Advisors Principal Dean Piccirillo, originally recommended Minaya Learning Global Solutions for the strategic planning task. Now president of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Piccirillo said, “I am personally excited to be working with Guido and Susan from Minaya Learning Global Solutions again as our strategic planning consultants for both the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce Foundation. It’s terrific to have access to the resources and expertise of a firm that typically consults with some of the largest companies in the world.”

In addition to helping the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce and numerous other nonprofit organizations maintain a clear direction to achieve their goals, Minaya Learning Global Solutions has produced 11 courses for JFK University in California for the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is creating a nonprofit leadership curriculum of 10 courses targeted for general availability in mid-2018.
